EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

This is a USAT SANCTIONED EVENT for ages 4 to 16.  The race is geared towards athletes of all skill levels.  Tiny Tykes may use flotation devices for their swim leg.  

Triathletes will start with a pool swim, transition to a cycle around beautiful Gleason Park and finish off with a run around the park.

Duathletes will start with a run, transition to a cycle and finish off with a run.

All athletes will receive a t-shirt or sling backpack and finisher medal.  Post race refreshments will be provided.  This event is based on participation and is not timed.

The 1 Mile family run is open to children and adults of all ages.  All proceeds from the 1 Mile family run will be donated to Brevard County Ocean Rescue.

LOCATION:

This year our event has been moved to Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach.   The course is closed circuit so there will be no traffic at any time.  

This is a very spectator friendly event.

Does not include mandatory USAT annual ($15) or one day ($10) membership.  USAT annual or one day membership is available during the registration process at IMATHLETE.COM.  If you purchase the annual membership it will be good for the Splash and Dash in October and any other USAT sanctioned races you register for.

1 Mile Family Run - $10 PER PERSON

100 yard dash for ages 6 and under - FREE

Please note that runners in the 1 mile race and the free 100 yard dash will receive a finisher prize and that no event t-shirts will be distributed.  

T-Shirts can be purchased at the event if interested.  

All Triathlon & Duathlon will receive an event t-shirt/sling back pack with their race packet.

Annual or one day USAT memberships can be obtained during the registration process at www.imathlete.com.  Annual or one day membership are also available at packet pick up and on race day. The waiver and terms and conditions must be signed when purchasing the USAT membership.

VENDORS: 

Vendors are invited.  Vendor fees are $50 per vendor.  This includes having a small logo printed on the event t-shirt or sling backpack and booth set up on race day.  If you are unable to set up a booth on race day, your logo can still be printed on the t-shirt for the $50 fee.
